For independent powersports dealers

Buyers ask their phone where to buy. It names the other guy.

When a buyer searches their phone — “best powersports dealer near me,” “where to get a side-by-side serviced in my town” — they read the answer at the top. If that answer names your competitor and not you, you lost a buyer you never knew existed.

First Named checks what those answers actually say about your shop, fixes the listings, reviews, and pages the answers are built from, and measures the change every month with dated re-checks.

  • No sales call. Everything by email.
  • No contracts. Cancel monthly services with one email.
  • We never ask for your passwords or logins.
  • One dealer per town. Your competitor can't buy us.
EXHIBIT A — WHAT BUYERS SEE

“Best powersports dealer near Elkins, WV?”

Elkins Motorsports is a top pick for buyers in the Elkins area…

Sturdivant Powersports — not mentioned.

What buyers see — reconstructed from the Sturdivant mini-audit below.

Reconstruction, not a verbatim AI answer. The facts shown above come from the real Sturdivant mini-audit below. The exact AI wording varies by engine and date.

What being invisible costs you

Run your own numbers. This is an estimate, not a measurement — but it shows the size of the hole when buyers ask their phones first and hear somebody else's name.

Gross profit exposed per month$10,800
Gross profit exposed per year$129,600
That's this many $500 audits259×

Assumptions shown: units/month × gross per unit × the share of buyers who ask their phone first, × 12 months. It assumes every phone-first buyer who doesn't hear your name buys somewhere else. Your real number is different — the point is the order of magnitude, and that the fix costs a fraction of one lost sale.

What you actually get

Everything is a deliverable you can hold in your hand and check yourself. No dashboards you'll never log into, no “strategy sessions.”

Full Visibility Audit — the parts list

  • Are you named in Google's answer, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini for 5 buyer questions in your town?
  • Google Business Profile completeness vs. your competitor's
  • Review count, recency, and response rate vs. competitor's
  • Website FAQ content the answers can quote
  • Schema markup / structured data presence
  • llms.txt + answer-bot access readiness
  • “Near me” query presence
  • Competitor head-to-head naming gap
  • Listings consistency — name, address, phone, hours across manufacturer locators and major directories
  • Prioritized fix list ranked by effort vs. expected impact

Delivered as a PDF + one-page checklist in 5 business days, counted from the day we receive your intake answers — payment alone doesn't start the clock.

Fix-It Sprint — the parts list

  • FAQ pages written for your shop, in plain sentences — finished files, ready to paste into your website
  • Google Business Profile rewrites
  • Review-request system your staff can actually run
  • Schema blocks (the behind-the-scenes code that labels your pages)
  • Print Kit: print-ready files for QR review counter cards and service-desk signage
  • After-Hours Auto-Reply setup: the wording and the setup for an instant reply to after-hours website and Facebook inquiries — a buyer who writes at 9pm hears back that night
  • An inquiry-form “how did you hear about us” field — Phone search / Asked online — so you can see it working

Delivered in 10 business days from your intake answers. If a deliverable named above is still missing 10 business days after you tell us in writing, we finish it at no charge — and if we can't, we refund the part of the fee for that piece. Every deliverable is yours to keep.

Citation Watch — measurement

  • Monthly re-check of the same buyer questions, same engines, same way
  • Plain-English scoreboard: named or not, next to your starting baseline
  • Your Google call, direction, and view numbers — checkable in your own listing
  • Competitor Watch: the named competitor tracked on the same questions; their gains and slips flagged

Citation Watch — production, every month

  • 2 new pages written for your site — question, service, or model pages in plain sentences (local pages where they fit: your riding area, your seasons)
  • No website? Your two pages are delivered as finished files AND converted into two extra Google posts each month until your site is live — you never pay for pages with nowhere to go
  • Google listing management: one Google post a month, photos, hours, and Q&A kept current, holiday hours set ahead
  • Review replies drafted for every new Google review visible on your listing that month
  • Monthly listings check — manufacturer locators, Apple Maps, Bing, major directories; anything wrong is documented, we fix what the listing owners let a manager fix, and you get the exact steps for the rest
  • Seasonal Pushes, quarterly, timed ahead of your selling seasons — part of that month's two pages when they run
  • Featured Unit page, monthly — or a featured service, if you're service-led — part of that month's two pages when it runs
  • Quarterly Season Plan — a one-page plan before each selling season

The scoreboard is how you check the work. The work itself is the service.

Website Build + Site Care

  • Complete shop website — home, inventory, services, about, contact — on simple software you update yourself: hours, inventory, photos, no code
  • Short walkthrough video showing you exactly how
  • Visibility work built in from the start: question pages, service menu, review links, behind-the-scenes files, connected to your Google listing
  • Live within 15 business days of us having your photos, logo (or shop name in text), hours, brand list, and services list — a missing piece pauses the clock, and we tell you within 2 business days
  • The site and account are registered in your name. Never held hostage
  • Site Care ($99/mo): updates, backups, broken-link and speed checks, small changes done for you, one-line health note every month

Platform/hosting cost is yours, paid by you directly to the platform. We never mark it up and never touch it.

A real mini-audit

This is an actual free mini-audit, run October 20, 2026, on real buyer questions. Nothing in this report is a mock-up.

Sturdivant Powersports LLC — Elkins, WV

652 Glenmore Loop Rd, Elkins, WV · Checked Tue Oct 20, 2026 — Google's answers + ChatGPT. A dated snapshot; answers change.

NAMED IN 2 OF 4 CHECKS

Check (Oct 20, 2026)Sturdivant named?Who got named
Buying questions near Elkins — GoogleNoElkins Motorsports
Buying questions near Elkins — ChatGPTNoElkins Motorsports
ATV service questions — GoogleYes — 3rdSturdivant (named third, for service)
ATV service questions — ChatGPTYes — 3rdSturdivant (named third, for service)

Where things stand: Sturdivant is a service-led shop — engine builds, full race builds and prep, shock rebuilding and suspension tuning, Dynojet dyno work — and for service, the answers know it: named on both engines. For buying, it is named on neither; Elkins Motorsports takes both buying answers. Two more facts from the same day: the shop's website, sturdivantpowersports.com, was down (checked Oct 20, 2026 — the site was unreachable), so a buyer who goes looking past the answers hits a dead end. And in the listing data checked the same day, Sturdivant's Google listing showed no rating or review count while other area dealers display theirs (Leesons Import Motors in Bridgeport showed 4.3★ / 82 reviews) — review volume is part of what these answers are built from.

First fixes, in order

  1. Get the website back up. A dead site gives the answers nothing to quote and a buyer nowhere to land.
  2. Publish plain-sentence pages the answers can quote — for the buying side and the service strengths: what an engine build includes and costs, what dyno tuning covers, what to buy for trail riding around Elkins.
  3. Start the review routine. A steady post-service ask until a rating shows on the listing the way competitors' do.

NAMED TODAY — FRAGILE

The Toy Store — Thornville, OH

Named first for dealer and service questions on the checks run for this sample. The risk is what's underneath: 4.9★ and 47 reviews, a no-hidden-fees policy, and a 5-acre demo riding area — all of it living in homepage prose, with no FAQ or buyer's-guide pages for an answer to quote from. The day a competitor publishes that content, this spot gets contested.

NAMED TODAY — FRAGILE

Carns Equipment — Clearfield, PA

Named first on the checks run for this sample, with the strongest base of the three: 4.7★, 128 reviews, deep inventory content. The gaps: no FAQ content observed on the homepage for answers to quote, and a wide brand mix that dilutes a single “the dealer near Clearfield” identity. Named today is not named forever.

Sample results dated October 20, 2026. If you're a dealer named on this page and anything here is wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.

Proof, not promises

Nobody can guarantee you'll be named — answers vary by person, place, and day, and anyone who promises a ranking is lying to you. What we can do is show our work, dated, in a way you can check yourself.

1

Check it yourself in 60 seconds

Take out your own phone and ask: “Best powersports dealer near [your town].” Whose name comes up? That's the whole pitch — and you can verify it before you spend a dime.

2

Dated baseline

Before any work starts, we run your tracked buyer questions and deliver the dated results. That's your baseline — it's yours to keep even if you never buy anything.

3

Monthly re-runs

Every month we re-ask the identical questions, the same way, and report your named-rate next to the baseline. Scoreboard delivered by the 5th business day of the following month — miss that date and the month is free.

4

Numbers you can verify

Your Google call, direction, and view numbers come from your own listing — you can open it and check every figure we report. Leads are labeled by the buyer: Phone search / Asked online.

Ads are reported separately. Always. Paid placement is bought at auction and labeled paid. Ad numbers never count toward your named-rate proof — not mixed in, not rounded in your favor.

Check it yourself

Don't take our word for any of this. These are the same places we check, free to use right now.

Google

Search your dealership the way a buyer does.

ChatGPT

Ask it for the best powersports dealer near your town. See whose name comes up.

Perplexity

Another place buyers ask. Same test.

Google Business Profile

Your listing is the biggest single input to what phones say about you. Claim it and keep it current.

What it costs

Plain prices. No contracts. You own every deliverable. Every service is paid by card, through Stripe — the button on each card opens that service's Stripe checkout in a new tab.

One dealer per town

The first dealer in a town who signs locks that territory while you're a client. We will not work for another dealer selling new machines in your town — and if we ever break the lock, your service is free until it's fixed and you may cancel with the current month refunded.

First 10 Full Audit buyers: your mini-audit findings are expanded to 5 fixes, and the Fix-It Sprint is 20% off ($760). Your checkout shows the discount before you pay if you're inside the first 10 — if it isn't shown, it isn't applied, no arguing after.

Citation Watch carries two guarantees: (1) if we miss a monthly report deadline, that month is free; (2) if there's no improvement in your named-rate versus your starting baseline after 90 days, the next month is free. Full Audit: refund if the delivered report documents zero fixes. The two free months don't stack — if both would land in the same month, you get the better one — and a free month owed expires if you cancel instead of taking it. Full definitions are in the fine print — in plain English.

Questions, in dealer language

I don't want anything to do with AI.

You don't have to use any of it. Your buyers already do — when they search their phones, the answer at the top is the one built from listings, reviews, and websites. Everything we work on is a normal business asset you already understand: your Google listing, your reviews, your website pages. We're not selling you a chatbot. Our whole job is the sources those answers are built from — your listing, your reviews, your pages — so your shop is set up to be quoted when a buyer asks.

Do ads count toward your proof numbers?

No. Never. Ads are paid placement, decided by an auction and labeled as ads. They're reported in their own report, with their own numbers. Your named-rate proof comes only from the unpaid answers, re-checked the same way every month.

Is this just SEO?

It's related, but the target is different. Old search showed a list of links and the buyer picked. Phone answers skip the list — they name one or two dealers outright. We work on the sources those answers are built from: your Google profile, your reviews, question pages on your site written in plain sentences, structured data, and consistent listings. Then we measure the answer itself, not your position in a list of links.

I got burned by a marketing company before.

Most dealers have. So: no contracts, no logins asked for, ever. You own every file and page we make. Monthly services cancel with one email. The guarantees and refund rules on this page are the whole deal, in writing, and every claim we make about your shop comes with a date on it so you can check it yourself.

Can you guarantee I'll be named first?

No — and don't hire anyone who says they can. The answers vary by person, place, and day, and the engines change on their own schedule. What we guarantee is in writing: the audit refund if the delivered report documents zero fixes; a free month if we miss a report deadline; a free month if there's no improvement in your named-rate versus your baseline after 90 days. The two free months don't stack in the same month, and a free month owed expires if you cancel instead of taking it. Those trigger on facts you can check, never on opinions.

Do you need my passwords or access to my accounts?

Never your passwords. For listing work, you add us as a manager on your Google listing — Google's built-in role. No password ever changes hands, and you can remove us anytime. That's how we post, keep your hours current, and see your call and direction numbers. For ads, you keep your own ad account and pay Google/Meta directly — we never touch ad money.

I don't have a website.

Then the Website Build is built for you: a complete site on simple software you can update yourself, registered in your name, live within 15 business days of us having your photos, logo (or shop name in text), hours, brand list, and services list. Already on Citation Watch without a site? Your two monthly pages are delivered as finished files AND converted into two extra Google posts each month until your site is live — you never pay for pages with nowhere to go.

What if my competitor signs up first?

Then your town is locked and we'll tell you straight, and put you on the waitlist. One client per town. The same rule that protects you protects the dealer who got there first.

How do I cancel?

Email us at the address on your invoice. It takes effect when we receive it; the current month runs to its end, and future charges stop. No exit call, no retention script.
